Get your Bitaxe only from a Bitaxe recommended distributer, as we are in Europe we buy our Bitaxe 601 Gamma's from MiningWholesale.eu

After trying to relocate my Bitaxe 601 Gamma to a new location with a different Wifi SSID and password, I found it impossible to update the Wifi setting at the new location. The only way I could make the Wifi settings changes was to reconnect at the previously saved Wifi settings location. Then when I arrived at the new location and power up the Bitaxe it automatically connects to the updated Wifi settings.
Q: What happens in this situation if you enter the wrong SSID or password and click save? A: The easiest way to fix this is to create a Guest Wifi account on your Wifi Router with the incorrect Wifi settings that you saved into the Bitaxe, this will allow you to get a IP address from the Bitaxe, then you can log into AxeOS and change the Wifi settings to the correct Wifi settings. Is there another way? Let me know in the comments please so we can help others who may also be having the same problems.
Canaan Nano 3 had so many fatal flaws one of which is the 4R7 SMD power inductor resistor that sits just in from of the USB C power socket. With the high heat build up in this part of the PCB, the paste used to secure the 4R7 SMD becomes brittle and the resister breaks contact with its two solder points on the board, this can lead to the fatal error message "non Support Adaptor", Nano 3 vs the latest Nano 3S, lets hope Canaan have dealt with the power supply and Wifi problems experienced by so many.
Canaan addressed this issue in an article published October 2024 https://help.canaan.io/hc/en-us/articles/39089038072985-Technical-Reply-Progress-on-non-supported-adapter-issue |
